thank you very much I learn to you many think
Very helpful, thanks! 🙂
you're the man!
I still have a question here. Does meristem tissue belong to one of the 3 basic plant tissues (dermal, ground and vascular )?
what is the non scientific name for Parenchyma,Collenchyma and Sclerenchyma?
Thank you that was really helpful
only problem is the captions. they block out some of the pictures or words you place on the bottom. besides that, love the videos. extremely helpful
I love this man!
if only it were 1 second longer it would be 1337 lol!
looks like you spelled sclerenchyma wrong in the video
I am watching Bozemanbiology for a long time…this man is awesome…..
Thank you so much!!! I have been struggling with secondary growth for a long time after this video I understand it!!
real shit, Mr. Anderson, you're the man… I finally understand these concepts…keep it up fam
Incredibly well done.
Bozeman + Crash Course + Khan Academy = DIstinction
So most orchid seeds lack endosperm?
this was the most helpful video in my life
You help drop outs feel better later in life.
You explained in 13 minutes what most teachers explain in like a week. You are the best. I don't even like Biology that much but watching your videos makes me want to consider it as a future occupation. Thank You!
your explanations r so helpful. I have a question though. .. I have to compare life cycles of three phyla of bryophytes unders these headings, structure of gametophyte, pattern of growth, structure of sporophyte, structure that disperses spores n position of archegonium n antheridium. please assist.
8:18 is that a root cap or a dick?
great vids btw man
We were taught plant tissue types are 1)meristematic 2)permanent 3) secretory
Thanks this will help my pass Botany.
this man is amazing, his videos are one of the top
Thank you so much! Could you upload different plants' life cycles??? please…
Thanks for sharing all these lessons. I am a biology teacher myself and I suggest my students to watch your video clips.
Everybody clap for Paul. He saved our grades.
Thx! way better than my prof. explanation
common test question so : at 7:28 the spike "might not be as far in" is vague, but the visual is accurate. For clarity and testing, the spike will be farther in.
is this good for AS ?
i love how quickly he can teleport across the screen. lol
9:06 should be xylem not xylum
bananas are very cool
This is like slower than crash course but faster than khan academy. Usually I use Crash course for review and khan for learning something complex. This is a good mixture.
you just saved my butt. I have a 2pg essay due tomorrow and I haven't even researched yet. you basically told me what I need and more. thank you man!
soooo helpful and clear! thank you!
Came here totally confused and left the page with a smile..Wonderful video..Well done 👍👌
What if a flower had 12 petals. Is it a dicot or a monocot?
why did this 13 minute video, cover 5, one hour lectures.
anyone else here for AP bio lol
Gosh this guy is fantastic. He’s miles better than my lab instructor.
While cambiums are meristems why do they have larger vacuoles
Any1 else from Mrs Q´s class? lol
These videos are extremely helpful. The sum up a chapter in 15-20 minutes and it makes my studying more concise and straight to the point rather than focusing on minor details. I have a quiz on mitosis, meiosis, cell Cycle, plant structure, growth, and development. It's like 4 chapters! Yikes! 😬 better watch all the videos to do with it maybe 2-3 times and I'll be golden!! 😂
Taking a botany course in college and your videos help me immensely! Thank you!!
so helpful thank YOU
SO GOOD THANK YOU SO MUCH 10/10 WOW
You are my new mentor.
I thought cotyledons were those things in seeds that serve as food for a young plant without fully developed leaves.
Q: afaik, efficiency in water conduction is whar determines how tall a plant can grow and that monocots lack the bigger conducting cells(vessels) so how come the tallest plant is a monocot(Redwood)? Are tracheids better at conducting? If so, what were vessels for?
Mr. Anderson, Thanks for all the great work u doing. You are an awesome teacher!
"…and in this podcast ungunnatakkabout…"
ur awesome Mr. Andersen!
OMG, He Toby Flenderson
my mom thinks i have a crush on my "geeky science teacher". i just think he's a good teacher XD she was probably joking anyway.

hello ,this is my 1st year in high school and my exam………😢your explanation is just superb but why didn't you explain vascular tissues in detail
I think he swapped the tree rings. In the spring there’s a lot of water, so the xylem is less dense, lighter in color. In the summer there’s less water, leading to a darker, thinner ring.
You are god
Youre the best!

Anyone else has a botany final
These videos are great! Especially after I learn something in class and don't understand.
Saved my DAT score! Thanks!!!
Great video, so well explained, clear and concise, well done.
Could you just be my biology teacher?? 😭😭
Here is my mnemonic for types of ground tissue: Parenchyma: they are the PARENT cells which provide for the others by providing what they need to grow: metabolism and photosynthesis. (Pare- starts both words.)Sclerenchyma: The strong soldier cells. They give their lives for the greater good of the plant, die and become woody growth. (Sclerenchyma, strong, and soldier all start with ‘s.’)Chollenchyma: they are support cells. These are the ‘column’ cells. (Both words start with he sound “col-“.)
