How to MEAT: Bacon Lollipop with Claire Robinson

Now I’m making bacon chocolate lollipops And the reason I’m doing that is because I wanted the fastest way to get this genius idea into my mouth I take a stick And I’m sticking it right into this thick cut of slab bacon that I baked at 400 degrees for about seven to ten minutes until it’s the crispiness that you like. So, I’m taking my bacon on a stick which is like a bacon lollipop, which is awesome I love it, and I’m gonna dip it into chocolate that I melted. Very complicated right? Now I can use classic like chips for this but chips really aren’t great for melting so I like to buy chocolate melts and those actually ensure that I get a perfect chocolate coating Look at that give it a little drizzle And then on to a piece of parchment paper to dry and when that dries. I’m going to have a chocolate Crispy coated piece of bacon that is chewy on the inside and there’s a stick to hold it so my fingers Don’t get dirty as I wolf these down. I’m so excited about this chocolate bacon lollipop that I couldn’t wait so I put them in the refrigerator to set up and you can certainly do the same thing. Now I’m in the back of a butcher shop so I threw them into their giant walk-in fridge which was pretty fast, but it made the chocolate set up a little bit faster. Now it truly is a bacon lollipop. I’m going in. Ready?
