Mix together until evenly combined and pop that off to the side to begin working on your crescent roll dough First line your baking sheet with a piece of parchment paper and begin Forming the shape of your candy cane by placing 8 triangles along the middle going upward and curving at the top Spreadsheet cream cheese mix along the inside edge of your dough and Begin adding your filling. I am using cherries here, and I’m just going to spread it on top of the cream cheese mix Once you’re done adding your fillings and grab the corner of your dough and pull it forward Tucking it under the front at first I was just going to use my fingertips to push it under but I found it well under much smoother with a butter knife Go ahead and pop that off into the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes while that’s in the oven We’re going to make our glaze in a bowl add your cup of powdered sugar 1 tablespoon of butter 1 tablespoon of milk and 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract mix That together until creamy and grab your Danish out of the oven Once the Danish is cooled for about 10 minutes You can transfer it onto a platter or whatever you want You can even leave it on the pan if you’d like But for a presentation sake I’m going to carefully scootch it onto a fresh piece of parchment paper Pad your glaze and you’re ready to dive right in and That’s it for a candy cane Danish it Has just the right amount of crisp, and I know I’ve said this before, but this just smells amazing This is a great treat to make on Christmas morning Or you can shape it however you want and have it whenever you’re hurt, or your stomach desires Thank you so much for watching If you enjoyed this video be sure to click on that subscribe button and turn on notifications as well You can also follow me on all of my social media at inspire happenings I will leave all of my links in the description I love you guys, and I will see you next time when we make another holiday treat together bye guys
