10 Simple Homemade Masks for Smooth and Glowing Skin

Achieving perfectly smooth and radiant skin
isn’t easy. But don’t worry! I have a couple of simple homemade recipes for you that’ll
make your skin glow within minutes, no matter your skin type or age! Wanna know all the
details? Let’s get right into it! #1: Oatmeal and cocoa mask Oatmeal is a well-known ingredient for exfoliating
the skin, and cocoa powder is very rich in the antioxidants your skin needs to look great.
Add some coconut oil for additional nourishment and honey for hydration, and a must-have face
mask for fresh and young-looking skin is ready! If you feel like your skin could use some
help, mix 1 tbsp of cocoa powder, half a tbsp of ground oatmeal, 1 tbsp of honey, and 1
½ tbsp of coconut oil. Blend all the ingredients well to make a smooth paste. Now wash your
face, pat it dry, and apply the paste to your skin. Applying a thin layer of this paste
will be more than enough for a great result. Let it sit for about 20 minutes, and then
wash it off with warm water. All done! #2: Honey and cucumber soothing toner One of the biggest mistakes people make is
skipping the toner step in their skincare routine. Toners restore your skin’s natural
pH balance, protecting it and making it smooth and beautiful. You can buy a toner next time
you go shopping — or you can make it right now and enjoy glowing skin! Start by peeling 2 cucumbers and putting them
in a blender. Then strain the cucumber juice, and mix it with 1 tbsp of honey. Once everything’s
done, apply a small amount of this toner to your face using a cotton ball. Voilà! Your
skin looks fresh and radiant again! #3: Pumpkin and milk puree Everybody loves pumpkin, right? Apparently,
it’s not only a tasty product but also a great treatment for dry and dull-looking skin. Add
some pore-tightening milk and nourishing honey to the mix to get one of the best homemade
remedies for glowing and smooth skin ever! If you wanna see the results for yourself,
chop up several pieces of healthy pumpkin flesh, boil them, and put it all into a food
processor or blender to make a puree. After you’re done with that, add half a tsp of honey
and half a tsp of milk to your finished puree, and mix them to make a paste. Apply this paste
to your clean face, and leave it on for 15–20 minutes. Once it dries, it’s time to rinse
it off with warm water. Repeat this procedure once or twice a week — you won’t recognize
your skin! #4: Green tea and rice flour mix Drinking green tea is great, but applying
it to your face is even better! Its antioxidants shrink your pores and make a nice treatment
for your skin. Rice flour, on the other hand, whitens your skin, which is pretty helpful
if you have pigmentation or post-acne spots. And the final ingredient is a lemon — the
best natural anti-acne and blackhead product. As always, this mixture is really easy to
make. You only need to mix 2 tsp of freshly brewed green tea with 2 tbsp of rice flour
and 1 tsp of lemon juice. Blend all the components to form a paste, and apply it to your face
for 20 minutes. Don’t forget to use your moisturizer after rinsing the mask off with water to additionally
hydrate your skin. #5: Brown sugar and vanilla scrub Scrubs are one of the most essential beauty
products for our skin. However, it’s very important to be careful with them as strong
scrubs can seriously damage your skin, causing acne and irritation. Luckily, I have a cheap,
easy, and very light scrub for you that’ll do a great job of gently exfoliating your
skin! There are only 2 steps to make this scrub:
Mix 2 parts milk with 1 part brown sugar, and add a few drops of pure vanilla extract.
If you wanna double the effect, add an egg yolk to the mixture as well. Now it’s ready
to be applied to your face or body! But don’t get too excited about it when you see the
results — it’s recommended that you use it no more than twice a week. #6: Cinnamon and chamomile tea cleansing paste This homemade paste is very beneficial for
your skin because it works in different directions all at once. Cinnamon stimulates your skin,
chamomile tea has a soothing effect and makes it smooth, milk exfoliates the skin, and honey
helps get rid of post-acne spots. Great combo, right? To get all these benefits, mix half a tsp
of ground cinnamon, 1 tbsp of freshly brewed chamomile tea, 2 tsp of milk, and a quarter
of a tsp of organic honey. You should end up with a soft paste. Wet your face, and gently
massage it with your finished paste. Leave it on for no longer than 3 minutes, and then
rinse it off with warm water. There you go! Your skin looks alive again! #7: Multani mitti face mask Specialists recommend applying face masks
at least once or twice a week. And your options are truly endless as the market is full of
moisturizing, cleansing, and soothing masks. But you need only one for clear skin and the
ultimate glow: a multani mitti face mask! Your ingredients for this mask are simple:
2 tbsp of multani mitti (or, as it’s often called, Fuller’s earth), 1 tbsp of tomato
juice, a pinch of sandalwood, and a pinch of turmeric powder. Mix all of these components
thoroughly, and add water to make a fine paste. Apply this paste to your face evenly, wait
for 10–15 minutes, and rinse it off with lukewarm water. Multani mitti will shrink
your pores and make your skin look healthy and gorgeous. #8: Egg and honey anti-wrinkle cream It’s not that hard to find an anti-wrinkle
cream these days. However, most of them are not only full of dangerous chemicals but also
barely work. Thankfully, there’s a wonderful natural anti-wrinkle cream recipe that can
make your face look young and glowing almost instantly. And if you continue to use it regularly,
the results will be even more spectacular! To make it, you have to heat 2 tsp of petroleum
jelly for a few seconds until it softens. Then add 1 tsp of honey, and mix well. After
that, add 2 tbsp of olive oil, 1 ripe avocado, and 1 egg yolk. Now mix the ingredients vigorously
until you get a homogeneous paste. All done! Don’t forget to put the cream in a covered
jar and shake it. Before using the cream, let it sit for at
least 5 minutes. You should also wash and dry your face. Now you can apply the cream!
Gently massage your face for a few minutes in a circular motion with your ring fingers,
and let the cream do its magic for 30 minutes or so. Be sure to remove it with a cotton
swab or mineral water once the time’s up! #9: Milk and lemon juice facial hair removing
mask Facial hair is a problem many women have to
deal with on a daily basis. Everybody has their own beauty routine to take care of it,
but if you’re still looking for a method that will give you impressive results within a
couple of minutes, you should definitely try this milk and lemon juice mask! All you have to do is mix 2 tsp of heaped
gram flour, a quarter of a tsp of turmeric powder, 3 tsp of fresh milk, 1 tsp of lemon
juice, and 1 tsp of coconut oil until they make a thick, oily, yellow paste. Then simply
apply a thick layer of it to all the areas where you wanna get rid of hair. Let the mask
dry for 10 minutes, and then gently rub it with your fingers to remove it. When you’re
done with this step, be sure to wash your face with warm water and dry it with a soft
towel to complete the routine. #10: Citrus face mask When we get tired, our skin starts to look
dull and unhealthy. But a citrus mask can easily change your look back to being bright
and luscious! These fruits are rich in citric acid, a powerful exfoliator that wakes up
your skin. And all the vitamins and minerals nourish your skin and make it look healthy
again. Whenever your skin needs a little boost, beat
an egg white in a bowl until it becomes fluffy. Mix 2 tsp of sour cream with 1 tsp of freshly
squeezed lemon juice and 1 tsp of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice in a different bowl,
and add them together. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly, and apply it to your face for
15 minutes or so. Rinse it off with warm water afterward, and you’re ready to go! Do you know any other homemade recipes for
